Please be aware that the head massage is not a substitute for any medical attention. Guests with any underlying problems or concerns should speak to their doctor before coming for a head massage. Imperial Retreat will not perform services for anyone with any of the following cases. It is a contraindication for safe and effective treatment.

Pregnancy: Our pressure point massage is quite effective. A pregnant women's body has a different hormone balance. Allergic reactions to certain products and sensitiveness to the treatment is unpredictable.

Injuries, dislocations or post surgery: We do not wish to place any additional risk to your recovery. Please consult your doctor and provide written approval. Without a doctors consent, regrettably we are unable to proceed with a treatment.

Baldness or Alopecia: For our guests with little or no hair, we still offer shampoo, conditioner, and massage. Guests can enjoy longer massage if they would like to skip the hair treatment. We have heard positive effects of scalp massage for hair growth.

Non Contagious dandruff, psoriasis and dermatitis: If the condition is light (without bleeding, pain and inflammation), our head massage treatment can be good for the scalp. We cleanse the scalp that might have accumulated sebum. We apply detoxifying haircare products on the scalp, which combined with massage increases blood circulation that brings nutrients to skin cells.
